In June 2014, Pete retired from St. Francis High School after forty-three years of service as Cross Country Coach, Social Studies Teacher, Dean of Students and Vice Principal. As a school community, we sought ways to pay tribute to a man who had dedicated so many years to the Golden Knights and truly exemplified the Franciscan virtues in his many roles at St. Francis. Establishing an endowed scholarship in Pete's name allows us to honor him as well as provide opportunities for a St. Francis education, something Pete believes in so strongly, for young men whose families have financial need.
